Please Rain Fall Records was set up only as a short term project / experiment. The label is now a year old which I think is a good time to finish. CDRs are no longer available, but I will leave the page up for anyone who wants to download the songs. Thank you to all the bands and artists for their contributions, and thank you to everyone who supported the label.

The third release on Please Rain Fall Records is called 'The Bedroom Pop EP'. It will be released early March 2010 and is available only as a free download. The EP will feature songs by Huffy who played in the seminal band Leopold Bloom and was also a member of Super 8, along with the boys from Endless Bob Brown. The Winnebago Orchestra and Oporto will also feature on the EP.

the garage pop ep - out now

The line-up of artists and track listing for 'the garage pop ep' is now complete. Please Rain Fall 002 features a song by Andus (formerly of The Cudgels and Oporto) and two by The Proctors, one by Spencer Roberts (formerly of Steamtown and Oporto), and I'm excited to introduce Oddsocks from Sweden, who are a very talented bunch. These girls are going to go far. All artwork and track listings etc. will now be lightscribed directly onto each CDR and enclosed in a soft plastic case. No covers are printed, but you can elect to print out your own cover using the artwork below. Choose any colour paper you like. The songs are available to download and the EP is out now.

The first release on Please Rain Fall Records is out now. 'The Black Country Pop EP' is a six song collection featuring Midlands mavericks The Cudgels, The Proctors, Oporto and Endless Bob Brown. To obtain a copy of this seminal EP please send me your address details and I will post a copy to you. Anywhere in the world. All you have to do in return is send back a CD mix or a story, a nice letter, a poem. Whatever you can dream up - there are no rules. Please Rain Fall Records is an attempt to build a like-minded community. It is a CDR label. There is no charge for any of the releases. I looked around and saw paypal buttons and requests for debit / credit card details. I didn't like what I was seeing. That is not my world. Just e-mail me to say hello and supply your address details, and I will send a CD. In exchange, you then send something back. This could be a story, a drawing, mixtape, badges, something you've knitted.. anything. Use your imagination. The first release on Please Rain Fall Records is coming soon.
